MATH 10P is an accessible look into some beautiful ideas of mathematics in politics. Topics include voting systems, apportionment, and gerrymandering. Open to category III and IV students in Non-STEM majors or Undeclared, although not recommended for Undeclared students intending to pursue a STEM major. MATH 10P satisfies the Area B4 (quatitative reasoning) GE requirement.

NOTE: Students in MATH 10P must concurrently enroll in a one-unit support lab, MATH 1010PS.
